IN LOVING MEMORY OF
EMMA KATHRYN GAGE

Our Mission
This memorial fund celebrates the life and legacy of Emma Kathryn Gage—beloved daughter, niece, and Ohio Premier Soccer Club alum. A talented artist, singer, and gamer, Emma radiated kindness, creativity, and joy. Her compassion touched everyone she met, whether on the soccer field, through her art, or in her global gaming community.
In her memory, this fund supports young people in pursuing their dreams, carrying forward Emma’s spirit of generosity and love.
OUR LOGO
The EKG #8 Memorial Foundation’s logo was thoughtfully crafted to reflect the essence of her legacy and spirit. The color blue, her favorite, symbolizes peace, trust, and loyalty, capturing the warmth she shared with those around her. Ohio Premier, her second family, is represented in the design as a nod to the profound impact it had on her life and the people she loved. The butterfly, a universal symbol of transformation and spiritual connection, was included to signify the belief that our loved ones continue to watch over us after they’ve passed. It serves as a reminder of her enduring presence, offering comfort and connection to all who knew her.

EMMA’S STORY
Emma’s arrival in this world was nothing short of a miracle. From the very first moment she was born, it felt as if everything around her awakened in a new and vibrant way. The sun seemed to shine brighter, the birds seemed to sing a little sweeter, and even the grass appeared greener. There was a glow about her, a warmth that made the world feel more alive. Her family was captivated from the start by her tiny toes, her soft cheeks, and her smile that could melt anyone’s heart. Emma had an undeniable gift: simply by being herself, she made everything feel more beautiful, more full of love.
As she grew, Emma never sought to be the loudest or the most popular. She was comfortable in her own skin, choosing to live her life on her own terms. Her happiness came from the small things—playing soccer with her teammates, gaming with friends, and exploring her artistic interests. Emma didn’t need accolades or attention to feel fulfilled; the joy was in the experience itself, the connections she made, and the world she created around her.

Emma had a deep love for animals of all kinds, from the tiniest to the most unique. She understood that each one was special, and she saw that same beauty in the people she met. She didn’t judge by appearances but welcomed everyone, embracing those who were different, just as she was. Whether it was the popular kids or the quiet ones, the athletes or the dreamers, Emma’s kindness and authenticity made her a friend to all.
On the soccer field, Emma cared less about winning or losing than she did about the joy of the game and the camaraderie with her teammates. For Emma, it was never about the final score—it was about the laughter, the teamwork, and the shared moments that made the experience meaningful. Her heart was always full of music and art, each a reflection of her inner light. Whether she was singing or playing her baritone, the sound of her voice carried a sense of peace and warmth, drawing others in. Her art, too, was an expression of herself—imperfect but full of truth, capturing the beauty she saw in the world.
Emma marched to the beat of her own drum—a rhythm that was steady, calm, and comforting to those around her. She didn’t need to follow anyone else’s rules; she knew exactly who she was, and that was enough. Her love for her family and friends was unwavering. It wasn’t loud or boastful, but it was always present—steady, constant, and undeniable. Emma didn’t need to be at the center of attention; just being with those she loved, supporting them in quiet ways, was enough. She made everyone around her feel special, seen, and loved.
When illness came into Emma’s life, she faced it with the same quiet strength and grace that defined her. Even though she wasn’t feeling well, her spirit remained unbroken, and she approached her diagnosis with a calm that reassured everyone around her. Her positivity never faltered, and her belief that everything would be okay was a testament to the gentle strength of her character. After a long surgery to remove part of her stomach, Emma woke up full of energy and laughter, comforting her family and letting them know she was okay. But the next morning, Emma passed away, leaving a hole in the hearts of those who loved her.
Though she is no longer physically with us, Emma’s light endures. It lives on in the music she sang, the art she created, and the love she gave to all who knew her. Her spirit continues to fill the world with warmth and beauty, in the quietest of ways, like the soft flutter of a butterfly’s wings. Emma’s love, her joy, her authenticity—these things remain, woven into the fabric of everything she shared with the world. She is forever a part of the people she touched, always there in the memories, in the music, in the art, and in the hearts of those who loved her.
Emma’s journey on Earth was short, but it was meaningful. Now, her spirit soars in a place of peace, where the winds are gentle and the waves calm. Her legacy is written in the love she gave, the friendships she forged, and the quiet strength she showed. And though her physical presence is no longer here, her light shines on, guiding us through the dark moments, urging us to live with the same love, grace, and quiet confidence that Emma embodied. Her story isn’t over—it continues in all of us, in every life she touched, in every smile she inspired, and in every heart she warmed.
